Welcome to my creative place...
Hello everyone-

Here is my take on a vintage style album. This book took me most of the month to make, hence the long time between post. I used many, many, many techniques on this album, to many to explain. Instead I am going to let the pictures do the talking. If you have any questions about technique or supplies, just send me a message. The paper collections are by: Graphic 45, Melody Ross, DCWV(Mariposa).
Thanks for looking!

Hello everyone-

It's summer time and sunny in California! Here is a tag to represent my home state...enjoy.

I used blue and beige paint to represent the sand and the ocean. I mixed the paint with glass bead gel.

Happy summer to all! Visit my YOUTUBE to see how I made this tag.

Hello Everyone,
Here is a new tag to try:

Mix glass bead gel and acrylic paint together and apply to the tag. This will give the tag a textured background. Add the bling while the gel mixture is still wet. Let the tag dry or use a heat tool to speed up process. Cut out flowers and add glimmer glass to the edges. Use pop up dots and add flowers to the tag. Use a clip to add ticket to the side of the tag. Add ribbon/charm and you are finished.

Hello Everyone,

Here is my newest tag. I made this using a plain luggage tag, acrylic paint, embossing powder, distress ink and embellishments.

The first thing I did was paint the tag blue. Once it was dry I embossed, with clear embossing powder, the tea cup over the top. I then painted cream acrylic paint over the entire tag. Once dry I used a baby wipe to remove the paint from the embossed image, this allows the blue paint to show. I used vintage photo distress ink to darken around the tea cup. I stamped the tea cup on scrap paper and cut out to use as a mask. I placed the mask over the tag and embossed the red lettering.

I added fibers, lace, and tassels in coordinating colors.

The back side includes a pocket for a tea bag.

This is a really fun technique, I hope you give it a try. Thanks for visiting my blog!!!
