Welcome to my creative place...
Hello Everyone! I wanted to share this canvas I made for a special friend at work. She is an I love Lucy fan, so that is the theme I went with.

I primed the canvas with gesso and then painted with a copper ink dauber. I printed out the image, lined it with pearls, and coated it with glossy accents. The bottle cap was a gift I received in a rak, I thought it looked beautiful.

I added bling and a Tim Holtz grunge heart. I painted the heart with a gold ink dauber and added gold leaf once it was almost dry. I used my EK typewriter stamps to spell out Lucy. Added a handmade lollipop flower with feather and bling in the center. This was a lot of fun to make and my friend loved it!

You can see the video for this canvas on my youtube page.

Thanks,
Christina

Hello Everyone,
I have fallen in love with the new Graphic 45 "Halloween in Wonderland" paper collection. I was fortunate enough to find a local store that carries Graphic 45!!! I went crazy and bought all the paper pads available. Here is a tag I made with the "Halloween in Wonderland" collection.

I didn't need to use many embellishments for this tag, instead I collaged the the paper to create this scene. Pop up dots were added to give the tag a 3-D effect.

I made this flower using a large punch by EK Success. Glimmer mist always adds the right amount of sparkle.

I added a Tim Holtz fragment backed with the G45 paper,a dangle charm, an eyelet, and fibers

Thanks for following my blog. You can watch my video for this tag on my youtube.

Hello Everyone,
Here are some cupcakes that I made with polymer clay. These are super fun and easy to make. I used Sculpy clay in brown for the base of the cupcake. Soften the clay and roll it to the size you want. Cut it into sections and shape like a cupcake bottom. Select you frosting color and roll out into a thin line. Then swirl around the top. I added little loops so I could use them as charms. Dust with perfect pearls to add shimmer. Bake for 10 minutes at 200 and then 15 minutes at 275. These are so cute and so fun to make. Hope you have fun with this technique.
