Welcome to my creative place...
When my husband saw this he questioned "Who's Art", which I thought was funny because Art is the other love of my life. My life is pretty hectic...I have three kids, hubby, and a full time job. Creating art is something nice I do for myself.

I have finally entered the world of art journaling!!! I have to say that I am loving it. This is the best way to express yourself and get super messy. Here is my creations:

This piece is a reminder to myself that I can be and do anything I want. I have to stop dreaming and make things happen!

Don't let these flowers fool you...they're paper. I wanted to make these super realistic....have a look.

Create your flowers and add them to floral wire with floral tape. All my flowers were made with die cuts, and I Am Roses paper flowers. Add potpourri inside the vase to give your flowers a scent.

Hope you enjoyed this project and give it a try. Thanks for taking the time to read...I also love comments!

Making paper flowers is one of my favorite projects. Although, they usually end up on albums or tags. It never occurred to me to actually make a floral bouquet. Well, until now...

Start by selecting a vase. Use hot glue and place a Styrofoam block in the center of the vase and cover with moss.

TO MAKE LIGHT PURPLE FLOWERS:
Use Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die and mulberry paper to cut out flowers. Spray cut outs with Carpathian Bluebells by Lindy's Stamp Gang. Allow to dry and layer petals on top of each other. I used a small white flower, from I am Roses , for the center of each flower. Use floral tape and wire to create each flower stem.

TO MAKE DARK PURPLE FLOWERS:
You will need about 2-3ft of crepe paper, from a roll, for each flower. Pinch the end of the paper and continue to roll and twist until you form a flower. Add a pearl bead to 12" of floral wire and place through the center of flower. Use Deep Plum Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels and spray each flower. Allow for the flowers to dry and wrap remaining wire with floral tape. You are now ready to begin arranging your bouquet.
